Our company has multiple facilities that all have similar and different devices. Each facility doesn't need access to the other's passwords. With 1Password I can create seperate vaults and allow the corperate team access to all vaults, while each facility is restricted to their vault. We use this to manage passwords, server creds, wifi creds and software product keys. It also has a share option where we can temporarily share a password with someone.

Everything needs a login. The more devices and websites I manage, the more tempting it got to re-use easy-to-remember non-secure passwords to avoid getting them confused. Writing them all down was not only not secure, but they were never where I needed them as they were "locked up" in a safe place. Now with 1Password, both issues are resolved. I provide IT support for our small staff, as well as developing and maintaining a dozen websites for local organizations. It is important that I keep those passwords secure, and be able to access them where ever I may be. I've got it on my Mac at the office, my PC at home, and on my phone, all synced up with each other for real-time updates in an accessible safe virtual vault instead of a locked drawer somewhere. It was exactly what I was looking for over 8 years ago when I started using 1Password, and it continues to do the job today. The company's commitment to keeping up with security and convenience through regular updates is comforting. Very satisfied.

- It's a small thing, but the numbers and punctuation are shown in different colors so you never need to wonder if it's a zero or a capital O.

- A handy place to keep contacts and all kinds of other data besides just passwords. Can add any fields I want, even attach files in the secure vault.
- The switchover from the stand-alone app to the subscription-based version was a bit difficult for me. Now I have duplicate entries that are taking me forever to delete as I check each one to make sure I have the most current info on the one I keep. If there's a convenient way to not only find duplicates but make sure to delete only the ones that are exact duplicates or show comparisons indicating the most recent one, I haven't found it yet.
- I found it easier to organize when I could just make folders instead of the new keywords way, but it's not major, just a very minor annoyance.

The best password manager ever.
1password is the best solution for managing passwords ever created! I've used 1password not only for personal use, but I also used it at work every day. There are versions for almost every platform and also a web interface, so you can use it everywhere anytime. Besides that 1password has plugins/addons for almost all web browsers, so it will help you to fill in and save your passwords quickly and efficiently. The corporate version has more features that will be handy for sharing the passwords for certain user groups as well as managing users and user groups. I've used other password managers, but no one came even close to 1password in terms of user experience, usability, platform integration, and corporate features.

1Password is being used by myself for both personal and business use, as well as by a number of other clients for both personal and business use. The main problem being solved is simple, keep track of the plethora of passwords that are used across applications, websites, computers and other devices. There are two major business problems that 1Password solves - security and forgotten passwords.
- 1Password does a phenomenal job of keeping track of all your passwords!
- 1Password allows you to auto generate passwords with varying complexity. Since you don't have to remember these passwords, you can use 1Password's password generator to create extremely complex passwords.
- 1Password's overall interface can be a bit overwhelming at first - with a plethora of options and categories to choose from.
- Getting used to allowing 1Password to manage all your passwords - to the point you don't have to remember them, or even know what they are - takes a fair amount of getting used to.

1Password is a great tool for password managment
Currently using to manage all of the IT password and user names. There were too many accounts to manage and we needed a tool to consolidate all of the accounts and passwords that could be managed in a central spot. It addresses the need to not have the same password in different accounts, etc.

- Contstant lock out/timeout.
- Wish it would not prompt to save passwords for sites I did not request.
- Wish it was better integrated with the mobile browser.

- Simple and secure setup
- Ease in creating different vaults for different uses and sharing/permissions across vaults for family or team members
- Integration across devices (laptop, tablet, phone, etc.) is seamless.
- iPhone Face ID integration
- The Chrome Browser add-on works very well.
- The password generator is great and very customizable to meet the differing requirements of companies/sites.
- It allows for a variety of different "types" of password entries, but if you want it to work as part of the integrated login functionality for a site, it must be created as a "login," which can be counterintuitive and impact the way your information is categorized.
- I haven't been able to figure out how to change the type of entry once it's created. You can move entries between vaults, but can't change the type, which results in needing to recreate and delete.
- Certain sites' login screens don't auto-populate, you have to go into 1Password to copy and paste.
- It's possible the functionality isn't as good using a Microsoft device (I have both a Microsoft Surface as well as a Macbook Pro).

1Password - a must for online security
1Password was initially recommended by senior members of the team to manage our personal and work credentials. It is just recommended, not enforced. It is used to save information such as login information, SSH keys, cryptographical keypairs, and general documents. It is in general a bad idea to have a single password for everything or save information in plain text. 1Password allows us to generate a random password for each used service and save information in a secure way.

- Browser auto-fill forms.
- Allow text fields to have more than one line (You can use notes for that but you can have a single note per item as of now).
- More formats by default (SSH keys, Blockchain keypairs, etc).

Using 1Password will keep you safe on the internet
Using 1Password has really helped us to manage the ever increasing amount of passwords that the internet requires these days. It is also more than just a password manager. Secure notes and things like server details, wi-fi passwords, identity storage, and secure document storage make 1Password a fully featured password manager.
- Autofill of usernames and passwords including one-time passwords.
- Password warnings for compromised websites, re-used passwords.
- Safari extension can be somewhat buggy.
- It can be confusing when updating a password and hard to know if the password you created will be saved to the correct record.

1Password, excellent solution to secure username and passwords
1Password is all in one solution for maintaining and safekeeping of usernames and passwords. We use it across departments and different verticals. It is used to maintain passwords and usernames to websites, desktop applications, smartphone applications, database applications, ERP account information and licensing keys to different software. All employees can have access at their own laptops while maintaining encrypted and secured information. The biggest business problem it solves is that of security. The features provided by 1Password are great especially the one where you are alerted by when a site has been breached and when you are required to change the password. It allows the user to quickly generate and use safe generic passwords for all the logins. It is compliant with most regulations, HIPAA being one of them. Password reuse and password sharing through the secure channel are other great features of 1Password.
- The encryption levels provided by 1Password are great. It’s a multi-tier encryption.
- The graphical user interface of the application is very user friendly. The design is made for better and effective user navigation.
- There is no option to reset your password manually for the user, someone authorized for the account has to approve the request for a new password.
- The extension for most browsers stops working after the browser is updated. This results in uninstalling and installing again which is time-consuming.

Great full featured password manager
I'm an independent Mac/Apple consultant and use 1Password for all my sensitive data. (passwords, Credit Cards, passport details, etc.) I use 1Password across all my devices ( Mac Pro, iPhone, MacBook Pro).
It allows me to quickly generate and use secure unique passwords for all my logins.

- Password Autofill , easy to use and quick.
- Password Generation, flexible password generation, allows you to omit ambiguous characters (io, l, etc.)
- Password Generation could allow "easy to remember passwords," but with special characters, capitals, numbers added ( which some sites require), This currently has to happen manually.
- New password generation and updating for existing logins, the current process can be a little cumbersome.

All For 1Password and 1Password For All
We used 1Password across the entire company as a way to store login info, both personally and professionally. 1Password made it easy for teams to quickly access and update shared login info, while also generating very secure passwords. We were able to keep inter-office details secure while keeping them easy to find.
- The password generator is a wonderful tool.
- The different types of info you can store. i.e. Credit card info, addresses, logins, etc...
- I'm not sure if it exists already, but a prompt asking if 1Password would like a new login saved would be great. I did not have it installed on my browser, so maybe this was how it functioned if it did this.
- It would be great if it could randomly update passwords for you on specific dates, so that you're always staying secure.

Secure your team
1Password is required to be used by the entire organization. We are a HIPAA compliant company and security is extremely important across the entire company. With so much software being used by different departments, the threat of having passwords stolen should be a huge priority in any organization. It helps keep us protected as well as compliant with HIPAA guidelines.

The One Password You Need
We use 1Password to manage all usernames and passwords for our departments and projects. One key issue that we solve by using 1Password, is security. By having 1Password create a new password, we take the burden of choosing a new secure password from the user and make it safer by leveraging the 1Password feature that alerts when a site has been breached and the password should be changed.
Also, some passwords/user sessions need to be generic (for instance for a per role account) and 1Password helps a lot in that field because it lets us share usernames/passwords and even credit card information with teams.

- 1Password is so secure, that it lacks a self-managed "forget your password" functionality which means that as a manager, I have to approve password resets which may slow down some users.

1Password is an excellent way to keep your logins secure
I use 1Password to manage all my passwords, bank account/credit card information, software licenses, and many other things. 1Password in currently only being used at a personal level (several of my other co-workers use LastPass). As I have increasingly more and more login information from various sites, 1Password has become an essential tool for me to stay organized and to keep my accounts safe.

- Integrates well with all major web browsers to allow login autofill
- Well designed apps
- Works very well on Macs
- Good synchronization options
- Ability to share logins with others
- Audits login information for problems and alerts you to passwords that should be changed
- Can store way more than just login information
- The Windows apps and integration aren't as good as on the Mac
- Occasional glitches with the browser integration
- Moving away from the one-time app purchase model and toward subscriptions (which is somewhat understandable at this point)

1Password...to Rule Them All
1Password is used by some of our staff in our department, in a hybrid manner -- being used for both business and personal account credentials management. As applies to our business use cases, 1Password helps staff to ensure they use the strongest possible passwords across the many dozens of servers, service accounts, and web applications we rely on to deliver value to our university, without duplication of credentials. Because 1Password securely stores our information and allows us to retrieve it effortlessly, this tool helps our department maintain very high standards of security.
- 1Password works very well across all popular platforms, including desktop and mobile apps, as well as various web browser integrations, providing a convenient and consistent method to access your logins and passwords no matter what device you're currently using.
- 1Password provides a powerful, yet straightforward, mechanism for the creation of strong passwords of varying lengths and criteria: if you normally use 24-character passwords but your latest account can only support 16-character lengths, just tweak the password length slider. If your latest account forces you to use special characters, just toggle the checkbox to ensure that need is met.
- 1Password supports Apple Touch ID on iOS and MacOS, and Face ID on iOS, allowing authorized users secure, but easy, access to their credentials, and obviating the need for frequent typing out of long passphrases.
- 1Password continues to provide iterative updates to their products which ensure ever-improving auto-fill integrations with website logins and mobile app logins.
- Not every website or web app login page is automatically recognized by 1Password; because the product works so well in most use cases, it can be jarring when it fails to properly populate a form.
- Because 1Password provides so many ways to interact with your secure vault of credentials, the slight differences in the various interfaces can sometimes be confusing -- the desktop version is slightly different from the web browser extension version, for example, and occasionally I find myself searching for the "generate password" button in the desktop interface because it's not where I expect it to be, given its placement in the browser extension version.
- Sometimes 1Password is too eager to assist me; from time to time it has tried to autosave unnecessary form inputs as new login accounts. However, this is preferable to its "missing" new accounts upon their creation!
1Password is amazing. In our work, we have dozens of websites that we have to use on a frequent basis. All of these websites have different password requirements. Some have length requirements. Some require a special character. Some require that you DON'T use a special character. Some websites make you change your password every 6 months. With 1Password, you only have to remember one password - your Master Password. Everything else is auto-filled.

1Password: Simple and Effective Cloud Security
1Password was used to store customer login credentials and shared system login credentials in the organization. It was a very helpful tool that was used across Engineering, Sales, and Operations. It addressed both the need for a more secure and encrypted method to store sensitive cloud-based system passwords, as well as simplify the accessibility of those for people who are logging in and out of several accounts per day, often on the same computer.
- 1Password's "Autofill" feature makes it easy on most website login portals to quickly search and select your username and password while not compromising security, whether you need to screen-share in-person or online.
- 1Password's Vaults feature provides a simple way to separate various personal and professional segments of password organization, such that if you need to delete passwords related to a project or professional experience, you can do so quickly and easily.
- 1Password's Watchtower feature is a great way to quickly and objectively analyze the strength of the security provided by each login you store in a Vault, and provides quick buckets from which to update these passwords.
- 1Password's Autofill feature could use some improvement, as it does not come up on desktop or mobile in some situations, and thus is not as sleek of a tool as it could be.
- 1Password's Chrome Extension is another area where things could improve. In some recent weeks, it has minimized the window from which you can easily search, find logins, and switch between Vaults, which is much easier on its desktop client.
- 1Password's Watchtower feature only currently works one Vault at a time. This does limit some of the improvements that people will tend to make to password security strength. It would be nice to see an enhancement where you can run the feature across all Vaults, and then see which passwords' strengths are excellent, good, fair, poor, etc. per-Vault.

1Password, thank you for existing so smoothly
I use 1Password personally and across our team. It helps maintain security while also allowing the sharing of the passwords across the team. We tried different solutions before with previous companies and it was always a nightmare.
- It makes the storing and creating of the passwords super simple. You don't need to login to the website and input them or track them manually, it sees you are at a login page and asks you if you want to store it/create a new password/auto fill from the already stored data.
- The chrome extension makes life so easy. Everything happens automatically. But of course, if you have separate chrome profiles for different purposes, you have to install the chrome extensions for each and setup.
- Being able to login to 1Password and "reveal" passwords, or directly copy them is hugely important. And 1Password is great at that. Sleek.
- Having different "vaults" is also awesome. Especially if you're storing passwords for different needs.
- With some pop-ups, 1Password won't' show up at all. So you can't use the system to log in. And it gets downhill from there, especially if you have used 1Password to generate passwords for you and you have no idea what your password actually is. You need to login to the website of 1passwords and copy/paste your password. It gets incredibly frustrating if you're on your mobile OR if you're in a rush/need to login asap.
- I have a 1password account for myself personally and we also use it companywide. I am not sure how to be logged in to them both at the same time. So I had google chrome to remember the password for most work related stuff so I don't have to juggle between accounts.
- Maybe have a way to carry over/copy passwords from one account to another?

I originally began using 1Password when I ran my own business. In this day and age we all have countless logins across a myriad of sites, and at a time when security has never been more important (or more precarious), 1Password helps me keep separate, individual passwords for every single login I own.
I continue to use 1Password personally, and log into the app numerous times every day. I used to use a hard copy notebook, but that method made it too appealing to use simple or easy-to-remember (and easy to hack!) passwords and led to frequent failed logins when I mistyped them. 1Password has kept me more secure and saved me countless hours.

- It's secure. 1Password makes no bones about the fact that its encryption is state-of-the-art (it has to be, right?). While my knowledge of encryption is entry-level at best, I do understand that 1) having a secure, encrypted master password file is key, and 2) this allows users to store unique passwords for every login, which means that even if hackers steal a password at one site, they can't use that same password to gain entry into all of your systems.
- It syncs across devices, seamlessly. Whether I'm at home or at work, I can find every password in seconds.
- It's a great place to store other information you need to keep secure: notes, software licenses, social security numbers of family members, etc.
- 1Password uses Apple's FaceID feature quite well... now I don't even need to type in my master password when logging in on my phone. I just open the app and look at the screen and viola! I'm in.
- 1Password's iOS and Chrome integrations are top-notch as well. Most of the time I don't even need to open the app -- I can just use the plugin on my browser, or iOS will suggest the password to use (again, with FaceID) for a website. Again, terrific time-savings.
- 1Password's ability to generate strong passwords based on a formula may not be anything new, but it certainly is more helpful than trying to come up with one yourself. One click will suggest passwords that are extremely hard to break.
- As you update or change passwords, occasionally 1Password will create duplicate entries for logins -- sometimes it will take me going through several entries for Google, for instance, before I find the correct one. I can delete the duplicates, of course, but this feels amateurish.
- This is a minor point, but I have so many logins it takes quite a while to scroll and find the correct one, so when using 1Password on my phone, I like to use the letters on the side of the screen. However, these are quite small and even on my iPhone XR, I often wind up hitting the wrong letter.
- When possible, I much prefer to purchase my software outright, rather than using a subscription model. With 1Password 7, it doesn't appear that there is an option to do that, so you're stuck paying an admittedly small amount each month, on an ongoing basis.

Offers security & time savings, but I'd like a few more organizational/usability features.
I use 1Password with both my internal team members (contractors) and with select clients.
For internal purposes, my team members have access to a main vault containing key credentials for apps & systems, as well as securely stored credentials for client systems. I also have a separate vault where I house my operational credentials (e.g., not to be viewed by the team).
With clients, 1Password offers a way to securely share sensitive data & credentials, and stay up-to-date on any changes they (or their team) might make to those assets. This helps avoid situations like password-protected spreadsheets or email sharing of credentials.

- If a certain login needs to be placed in two vaults (e.g., for two different teams), any updates must be applied to both instances which creates a bit of a management hurdle. We could create a 'special' vault for those types of items, but that could lead to a lot of extraneous vaults. This is particularly relevant when using the "Guest" feature, as many of the credentials have to be duplicated, and then they won't sync to the Guest vault if they're updated in the Team vault.
- When using the 1Password iPhone app, the search field takes *forever* to populate results, making the search function essentially unusable. Instead, I typically use the alpha-scrolling and then manually navigate to the item I'm looking for.
- If I view a specific vault within the desktop app, the next time I use the browser extension the results are also restricted to that vault. In order to get it to look at all vaults again, I have to open the desktop app and change it back to "all vaults" there — there's no way to select the vault within the browser extension.
- The system walks you through the initial setup steps fairly well, but then setting up the apps can be a bit daunting. I'm planning to get my family members onto a personal plan, but the set up is so complicated that I have to wait until we're together so that I can help them through it. This also creates some difficulty when on-boarding new users for my business, as it takes a lot of effort to be sure they have access to all of the right areas (and then use / save that info in order to log in to the apps).
- Seems like the business plan should have more options to accommodate organizing credentials for many different clients. Right now, we just rely on consistent naming conventions to allow like items to group together (e.g., Client Name — Website Title), but it's not very elegant and can get lengthy. I know that tags are available for use, but I'm not sure that would achieve the desired result. Initially, I had considered using individual vaults for each client, but there are just too many to merit individual vaults.
- When using the browser extension, there's no preview of the username, so if you have two records with the same title (e.g., United Mileage Plus), you have to view it before filling to ensure it's the right one. This means that all records must have a unique name / identifier, which can lead to very lengthy titles. This is particularly relevant when you have access to client accounts, since you can't be renaming their items to match your own naming conventions.

1Password is a Must-Buy
Several of our team members use 1Password to manage both business and personal accounts. 1Password makes it extremely easy to generate random, secure logins and save them in a secure way. It's an indispensable tool for making sure our online accounts stay secure. The integrations with Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and other browsers are fantastic.

- Integrates with all major browsers
- Excellent mobile app
- 1Password is starting to move to a services-model. I'm not a huge fan...
- 1Password's syncing options could use some work
- Would love to see better software license support in the app

Secure password storage is a requirement in our day, 1Password is the best app for it.
1Password is used by my whole team to securely store and share passwords to our various online accounts, as well as capture secure information that we need to share across the company. It is also used to help transfer and communicate credentials to online accounts to and from our clients. This allows us to have unique and strong passwords for all our accounts (approximately 3000 different credentials), without having to keep hard copies, and ensuring that they are in a secure location.
- Create strong passwords: with a single click, 1password can create, store, and auto-fill password fields when new accounts are created. You can customize character options for those useless "security measures" put in place by some programmers that require (or alternatively, do not allow) capital letters, numerals, and special characters.
- Securely sharing passwords: through encrypted sharing methods or inviting to a team vault, you can easily share one or many credentials with clients and team members.
- Securely storing payment info: using the same secure encryption methods, you can also store an autofill payment methods (credit cards, etc) for one-click use on ecommerce sites.
- Price: 1Password is the best app in the industry for this functionality, and as such, the price tag is also among the highest.
- Browser extensions: this may be more of a function of constantly shifting browser technology, but at times the auto-fill functionality can feel glitchy, leading to confusion

My password solution
1Password has been a great asset to our organization since it helps us organize all of our sensitive information like passwords, logins, credit cards and even annotations. Also, since it’s specialized in security, it enables us to create and maintain really secure passwords. We’re able to create vaults for each team, which is a better way to organize all of that information between different teams.

1Password is the industry standard for a reason
1Password is being used across my entire organization, in conjunction with LastPass, though 1Password is absolutely our tool of choice. As a small team of Implementation Engineers, we are often given access to customers' CRM Sandbox and Production instances, and all of us may need access to one of said instances at some point. With that said, we are able to use a shared vault in 1Password so that we can share these credentials without bugging each other.
- Integrates with every browser I use seamlessly. It works flawlessly in Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. It can also sync between computers easily using dropbox or other similar applications
- It is lightweight and does not have a huge memory footprint
- It is extremely responsive to password / log in inputs in ways that other, free applications like LastPass or OnePass absolutely are not
- The price is relatively exorbitant for your average user. I confess that I am using it based on a free license I got from working at Apple several years back; even loving this software as much as I do, $50 for a single license is a steep ask, especially in today's world of free applications
- The interface has not been updated in quite a while. Not that it is bad, per se, and is very utilitarian, but a small facelift would be nice

1Password Review
Both personally and in the company we use it in Mac, Windows, and Android environments. We have been using it for more than a year. It is easy to use. It is ideal to have all the safe usernames and passwords in one location, the connection with all our computers is optimal; it has security copies and updates it for all our equipment.
- Easy to use, safe and affordable.
- Synchronization on all my Apple devices - cloud support - integration of multiple browsers - support for credit cards
- Fill in the login forms - Synchronization via Dropbox on the desktop and the smartphone Multi "vaults" for mixed professional and private use. Manage several logins for the same site.
- The fact that you have a password generator is ideal for those cases where complex passwords are required in certain applications.
- When a high number of passwords are handled it becomes a little complicated, it is necessary to review them all to label or classify them.
- You can improve the entry data by storing password expiration and showing the history of password changes.
- You can improve the support part, if you want to locate something you should check among thousands of questions to detect which one you are looking for.
- Sometimes it is necessary to view the history of password changes and the app does not have that available.
- They should improve the integration in online banking applications, in many cases it is very slow or a bit clumsy.
